Abstract


Support for garbage-collected languages ??such as Java and C # are becoming increasingly popular , but the traditional performance of the garbage collector has become increasingly low . To improve application performance support garbage collection , it is necessary to make the application between the various components of the object-based storage access behavior of the memory system can adapt to each other well , and to minimize the various overhead to maximize application performance . Therefore must be through in-depth analysis of object-based storage access behavior to traditional garbage collector performance tuning or to guide the design of new garbage collection algorithms . First , in-depth analysis of the performance of the existing garbage collection algorithms in modern computer systems is increasingly low and new garbage collection algorithm performance , and then details the general garbage collection tracing algorithm .
