Abstract


Battlefield decision-making and trend of development with the demand of modern warfare and the detection means of progress, impact factor increasing the amount of information that the rapid expansion of the type of information and its topology, the correlation is more complicated, and how to take advantage of existing information improve battlefield situational understanding and decision-making level, has become a domestic and international military command decisions urgent need to address the problem. Orthorectified image and digital elevation model based on satellite to construct global three-dimensional Geographic Information Digital Earth technology in recent years has been considerable development, and quickly get in the military field applications, that is, the global virtual battlefield environment technology. This paper aims under the framework of the Digital Earth environment information by studying the performance and integration, multidimensional scheduling technology, structure, including deployment, meteorological, electromagnetic, perceived, measurable, realistic battlefield environment for participating in the training (war ) to provide situational awareness and decision-making services. The main work of the paper include:. Massive battlefield environment data segmentation, storage, scheduling techniques proposed algorithm. Space segmentation techniques in the study of large-scale scenes based on a space on Digital Earth segmentation method; scheduling characteristics of multi-resolution data for large-scale scenes, a scenario-based space partitioning and file name hierarchical data storing method, and based on this design to achieve a stored scheduling algorithm based on the viewpoint data. 2. Study the large-scale scenes accelerated rendering technology. Consider the sphere object observed characteristics of the curvature effect from invisible object culling and visibility of objects simplify two, the the different viewpoints distance under conditions, fast object visibility culling algorithm based on the judgment and the vertices of the bounding box split method LOD scheduling. 3. Study of the organizational structure of the integrated framework and multi-layered scene of battlefield information. As the core battlefield information integration drive information integration framework for different battlefield information data characteristics and relationship; scene layer defines Digital Earth, organizational structure and integration method based on multi-layered scene. Designed integrated on a digital earth platform the virtual battlefield prototypes of a variety of battlefield information system, and the results of the study demonstrate and verify the results show that the system is better digital earth platform integration and performance of a variety of different battlefield information, the system is stable, and higher efficiency.
