In the case of increasingly competitive market, small and medium-sized enterprises want to take market with a new, faster and better product、The breakthrough is the memory of a large number of product info of the enterprise informatization management .To generate and store complete technical information which needed by the product development, design and produce with a integrated information system. At the same time, as the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises, more variety, low-volume production and the product-related information more clutter. How to quickly retrieve and use of existing knowledge has become a bottleneck. The traditional manual operate will bring a lot of human resources consume and management obstacles. As a result, currently many enterprises hope to rely on the implementation of the PDM to improve their competitiveness, which will centralized management all aspects of product info for the use of search and at the same time provided for process control in order to secure information ,by ensure that the entire enterprise in the right information in the form of the right to be able to reach the right hands.PDM is short for Product Data Management. It is a technology which used to manage all product-related information and process. PDM is software-based technology, to its core products, implement of product-related data, processes and resources integrated management technologies. The core idea is to make data sharing, staff cooperate and co-optimization process, that is the enterprise information integration and collaborative product development platform. PDM as a clear-oriented manufacturing, product is the core of management, data, process and resource is the three major elements of management information. The traditional PDM mostly oriented enterprise internal data management, inter-enterprise collaborative exchange of information, user-friendly, maintenance complexity, and so on are deficient, and Web technology in the PDM system can be a very good solution to these problems.Internet and Web-based technologies provides a basis for the global sharing of electronic information. The PDM system which built on the Internet is considered to be the distributed product data management of the natural expansion, Web browser will also be a common user interface of distributed applications. Web user interface based on HTML or Java and web server access has become a PDM system standard. Develop a Web-based enterprise PDM system is a severe challenge for any organization. It takes enormous energy and resources to carry out research and analysis to solve some important technical problems , such as technology, workflow, authority, etc.Software architecture is a series of abstract patterns, used to guide all aspects of the design of large-scale software systems. Software architecture is a draft of the system. The object that described by the software architecture is the abstract components composed system directly. The connection between the various components clear and detailed described by the components of communication between.PDM is a software framework for the system, which provides product development, production, sales and so on in every aspect of data management, process management and control of environmental integration. PDM set all enterprise applications in its framework with its network platform, implementation of the data integration and the functional control, to provide a unified interface. In this paper, PDM system is designed by the J2EE three-layer architecture, the system has a performance layer which used to provide user interface; a business level which provide client services and business logic; the final level is enterprise information system storage layer, providing data management.An important concept of PDM is supporting business-style query, modular, similar design. An important concept of CAPP is inquiries, similar technique. An important concept of ERP is Organization production based on "parts" rather than by the products, and the implementation of these principles cannot be separated from the product data (pattern) classification coding and software have the "classification code management" function. it is only through the classification code from your computer in order to quickly query similar to "spare parts" and similar family "Parts", taking it as a resource and not information to complete the new design, new technology, thereby greatly improved the speed of product design and development, adapt to rapidly changing market demand. According to the analysis of information classification coding rules ensure the principles of information classification coding, adopt the factory methods of design model of and strategies for the mode design information classification and coding framework.Workflow management module is an important basic functions of PDM, used to define and control the basic processes of data manipulation, main manage the flow of data between of people or activities while the user operate the data, as well as in a project life cycle keep track of all business and data activities, provide generation, management and ability of control their business processes for the system.The system’s workflow is designed by the XML definition files, to enhance the robustness and reusability of the system and can be flexible to meet business process needs change frequently; analysis of the XML class and resolve the expression in XML then storage it in the information flow class, and then processed according by the information flow and activated the next process until the end of the process. The process touches upon a number of activities and a variety of roles, each of the activities touches upon different roles, along with the different processes.Authority Management is distribution of different operating authority in different states and the object of the location, according to the staff (and role) in the PDM system. PDM authority management system, including two aspects, object-based authority, that is, on a specific target has been set up which visitors can visit or operate; based on the relationship between the authority, that can be set up in common with the visitors authority, such as According to the different working groups, different roles have set the target of the different product data access, including read, write, edit, copy, delete and so on. In PDM system, all products are defined as class - data product category, specific product data for product data objects. The type of product data in the PDM is the basic object management authority.WEB-based PDM system’s software architecture use the MVC layered software architecture, design pattern based on the principle of systems analysis and design. In the analysis of the PDM important technology of the system, we designed a system of clear and complete design information classification ,coding, workflow and authority management. One analysis and design of information classification and coding standard method of coding rules and principles of product design and modify the course of tracking and control functions workflow and the whole concept of rights management systems and programs. Finally, through the completion of the design of the framework of the PDM system, the design combined with the completion of the classification code, Workflow Designer, the administrative authority of the components used in the management of demand for small and medium enterprises, given the components of the use case model, object model, code classification , authority management models and methods.
