Abstract


As the rapid development of railway engineering, the Train Video System has experienced continued transformation, undergoing the process of upgrading and updating. In recent years, the development strategy of railway engineering is to absorb the advanced technology from abroad, and to develop the corresponding technologies which could meet the requirements of Chinese railway at the same time. During the process of localizing the Key Technology and products of railway passenger car, it is urgent to improve the performance, reliability, intelligence and network of Train Video System.In this thesis, firstly we introduced the conception of Train Video System, the content of this project and the structure of the thesis. The history of Train Video is summarized, and we also compared and analyzed different blue prints and viewpoints. Secondly, we described the conception of Train Video System based on Wide Band Technology in detail, including its relationship with other railway electronic information systems. Finally, we discussed and described in detail the principle and realization methods of chief components of Digital Video System based on Wide Band, which are composed by head system, terminal system and network communication system. The newly developed Digital Video System has been applied in railway engineering, which was simply described in this thesis.
