Abstract


The model-driven architecture is now a hot topic in the field of software engineering research , on behalf of the future of software development in one direction . In this paper, based on the principles of MDA software development methodology to achieve made ??more comprehensive analysis and research , summed up the advantages of software development methodologies based on MDA . Based on the discussion of the model-driven structure , its application to the development of modeling tools . On the Eclipse platform and the introduction of the the GEF framework of the analysis of the superiority of the Eclipse platform graphics editing . Combined with the current development of the model-driven architecture , design and modeling tools based on Eclipse and GEF . The tool can create UML2.0 use case diagram , class diagram , sequence diagram , activity diagram , state machine five popular graphics file by parsing needs and call the appropriate method to create the model , the model framework automatically generates . Use case describes the introduction of the use case diagram provides a feasible and efficient method for model transformation . Achieve automatic conversion tool , which greatly improves the efficiency of modeling , while improving normative consistency and correctness of the model , which will have greatly improved the quality and maintainability of the software development .
