Abstract


Become more and more widespread , rapid development of the picture video processing technology , processing and compression performance continuously improve how accurate evaluation of the validity of these processing techniques with the technology needs of digital multimedia new topics in this area , at the same time , evaluation deal with the effectiveness of the technology , you can help us to find technology exists to provide a reliable basis for the further development of the technology . First, the article briefly describes the various image video processing technology , the actual product , for example , intuitive introduction to the role of these processing techniques . Then, the paper details the development status of the subjective image and video quality evaluation and objective quality assessment method , starting from the basic concept of the principle of the method of evaluation , in-depth analysis , and classification describes the current research areas of technical means , objective quality evaluation method based on the human visual system for objective quality assessment technology concern hotspot of this field of research , the article also details the characteristics of the human visual system , then , this paper presents a non- reference quality evaluation methods and gives the experimental results of this method , the experimental results show that the result of this method with the subjective quality evaluation of the DMOS indicators , it is possible to accurately reflect the subjective quality of the image and video .
