Software component technology , distributed object technology of the traditional system development had a huge impact , and its distribution , openness , configurability , efficiency , ease of maintenance and the advantages of multiplexing with the components to be considered to solve the software crisis in an effective way . But already too much considering technical versatility , making these results when applied to specific areas , are often unable to achieve the desired result . In the field of higher education (College Education Domain, CED) , the various departments of many colleges and universities across the country have their own subsystem , a division of a system , leading to various schools , departments between inconsistent information to the data exchange with to be difficult , useful information can not be shared , and statistical analysis . Always specific schools due to the CED system software development \promotion and application of the system . Based on the status quo , the paper proposes a component-based CED system . Study and explore the component technology used in the field of engineering methods in the the CED field of software product line technology to develop the field of higher education applications . This paper analyzes the component technology and the field of engineering , component-based software development technology , the CED field components and component management study . Soft components extracted from the CED field . Applied to the field of engineering the CED system development , the establishment of the CED field of model , and then combined with UML modeling technology, extraction , and some elements of the CED field . The extracted components , is very useful for the development of the CED field application system , can greatly reduce the workload, shorten the development cycle , improve the quality of the system .
