Abstract


Image registration is a basic problem of the image processing application , for two or a plurality of images of the same scene acquired in the different sensors, different viewing angle , a different time or a different photographing conditions for aligning superimposed (mainly geometric meaning on ) , has a wide range of applications in many fields , such as computer vision , medical diagnosis , adjuvant therapy , remote sensing images and three-dimensional modeling , image stitching, etc. . Based the transform domain registration method is one of the commonly used method , combined with theoretical knowledge of the quaternion studied by Fourier transform domain technology is mature phase correlation method , applied to the phase correlation method with quasi- ideological the field of color image registration is proposed based on quaternion Fourier transform of subpixel phase correlation method , simulation results show the reasonableness and correctness of the method ; compared with the traditional Fourier transform four metadata Fourier transform many similarities . One of the feature-based registration method is also commonly used method , the advantage that the representative feature information extracted from the image , thereby reducing the amount of computation to improve the speed of the algorithm . In-depth study of the now popular SIFT algorithm , the improvement and upgrading of the the SIFT algorithm 's defects , two new Descriptive characteristics of the method -CSIFT and the SURF method used in the field of image registration . Experimental results show that these two methods in the same time to maintain the accuracy of alignment can be stably and quickly implement the entire registration process , and easier to meet the real-time requirements .
