Abstract


Fusion refers to the imaging of the same target or a plurality of sensors of the same scene or a single imaging sensor in accordance with certain rules, certain processing , and to generate a new high - quality image . Image fusion in remote sensing, machine vision , medical images , and other non-military areas and military areas to get a wide range of applications . In recent years , image fusion has become a hot research topic . This article will focus on the image fusion method in a digital camera application - multi- focus image fusion . First, a brief review of the basic theory of image fusion and multi - focus image fusion , and then discussed multifocus image fusion method based on spatial domain and frequency domain - based multi-focus image fusion method , and through the simulation experiment evaluation and analysis of these methods results. Secondly, a detailed analysis of the shortcomings of the existing multi-focus image fusion based on wavelet transform algorithm . The analysis results show that : the existing method fusion criterion can not be well suited to the high-band contains a large amount of important information of the source image fusion . Finally , this paper presents a multi-focus image fusion based on interaction with the energy and wavelet transform algorithm . Experimental results show that : the algorithm can achieve better fusion effect . In particular , this algorithm can effectively preserve image details of the structure .
