Abstract


Stereo images with the image , and video information technologies are maturing , technology is developing rapidly, become one of the hot issues of the research scientists . Very extensive application prospects of the stereoscopic image technology , can be applied to many other areas of scientific research , military , educational , industrial , medical , and therefore very valuable research on three-dimensional image . In this paper, still stereo images from the following aspects of theoretical analysis and experimental research : First, a brief introduction to the history of the development of three-dimensional images , three ways to obtain the three - dimensional image display technology , the common coding compression method as well as the stereo image results; Second, from the point of view of physiology, geometrical optics and psychology dissect human eye stereoscopic principle , the establishment of a simple mathematical model to calculate the depth perception limit distance parallax three-dimensional viewing distance relations; Next, in order to better evaluate the processed image , introduced several traditional flat image quality of subjective and objective evaluation method based on the image quality evaluation methods of the human visual system and improved image quality evaluation model ; then , brightness, contrast , resolution and color three-dimensional image display system based on dual- view stereo image , and draw the corresponding test curve . Found that compared with the other factors , the brightness stereoscopic larger, and verify that the viewpoint image of the chromaticity difference almost no effect on the three - dimensional display of information , using a chroma replacement method can effectively reduce the amount of data of the stereoscopic image important results ; Finally , edge information on the imaging results of the three-dimensional image . Discovered for the first time when the left and right views are removed when the edge information , the image after the synthesis as compared with the original image , although the quality of the image is slightly reduced, but the three-dimensional and a certain increase in the Comfort . The conclusions on the future three-dimensional image data compression and transmission , as well as three-dimensional image , the improved effectiveness of certain significance .
