Abstract


Control and modular integration with automation , computers, communication networks , the development of technology , industrial control network is constantly moving forward , from analog signal transmission - based distributed control system (DCS), the development of digital, intelligent , full distributed fieldbus , to the newly appeared and the rapid development of industrial Ethernet . This paper briefly introduces the development and research of fieldbus and industrial Ethernet , as well as currently popular of several fieldbus and industrial Ethernet , select American Rockwell Automation representative ControlNet fieldbus industrial Ethernet and EtherNet / IP . In this paper, ControlNet and EtherNet / IP network model description and layers of network protocol analysis , summed up the characteristics of their network , and the advantages and the problems they have . ControlNet and EtherNet / IP as industrial control network , real-time requirements . In this paper, through the ControlNet the data link layer media access control (MAC) protocol , analyzed its communication mode the MAC packet frame structure , the parallel time domain multiple access (CTDMA) algorithm and the simulation packet transmission delay model analysis of real-time performance of the network ; experimental methods , real-time analysis of network performance , and draw some conclusions of the network settings , practical guidance for network optimization . EtherNet / IP data link layer , the media access control (MAC) protocol analysis to study communication mode , the the MAC packet frame structure , Carrier Sense Multiple Access / Collision Detection (CSMA / CD) protocol , packet propagation delay model , analysis of real-time performance , and to propose ways to improve real-time performance . ControlNet and EtherNet / IP is one of the two open industrial control network , the application layer using the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) protocol can achieve seamless integration of the two networks , the paper also carried out a detailed analysis of this part research . Last ControlNet and EtherNet / IP network performance , configuration and application analysis and comparison , and prospects for its future development .
