Abstract


This article describes the development of Ka-band satellite communications at home and abroad , to discuss the impact of rainfall on radio wave propagation , ITU-R rain attenuation prediction model detailed calculations of the rain attenuation , multi-beam antenna based on the results of spaceborne power allocation scheme , the article concludes with a brief introduction to the common anti - rain fade technology , and the most widely used open-loop uplink power control techniques discussed on the uplink and downlink attenuation conversion and uplink attenuation prediction algorithm , and control by the power gap caused by a large number of burst errors preliminary solution . In this paper, the exponential model method to get the 0.01% rate of rainfall data 1min , and according to the ITU-R rain attenuation prediction model of linearly polarized the main Ka-band satellite uplink and downlink of 65 sites in 92 ° E geostationary orbit satellite rain attenuation distribution was calculated and analyzed research and making site attenuation maps , as well as six typical sites rainfall worst month . In our Ka-band attenuation calculation and analysis on the basis of spaceborne multi-beam antenna the beam allocation design program : the the Northwest rain attenuation impact area a half-power beam width of 4 ° beam coverage , while the rest of the 13 half-power beamwidth of 1.5 ° beam attenuation similar to the principle of the beam coverage area coverage , in order to achieve the optimal allocation of of spaceborne limited power .
