Abstract


SPIDER integrated information network ( referred to as space-based network ) is a wireless network system by the different tracks , different types of satellite through ISLs interconnected space . With the rapid development of the satellite network technology , the new network protocols are becoming increasingly complex. These network protocol before it is put into use , must be rigorously tested . Network simulation can be controlled both provide reproducible experimental environment , but also through a real agreement and outside the real-time data exchange, is an effective network performance testing tools . Select the link layer simulation can take advantage of a lower price get higher confidence experimental results , is ideal for the needs of the satellite network protocol testing research has important theoretical and practical values ??. The main research content is the : ◆ analyzed under Linux link emulator technology . ◆ design the architecture of a distributed link emulator . Analog satellite simulation node to node on the Ethernet interface analog satellite communication link emulation configuration management , configuration management server for each simulation node . ◆ propose a model of a space-based link parameters , and the reconstruction of the link topology and link attributes dynamically updated using the virtual link associated table . ◆ Linux kernel virtual interface queuing mechanism to achieve distributed link emulator . Emulator running in simulation nodes , link characteristics to simulate space-based network control interface between packet forwarding . ◆ achieve link emulator test, the test results show that the emulator can better simulate space-based link behavior , control optimization technology laid the foundation for further study of the transmission of space-based routing .
