Abstract

This topic comes from "fifteen" preparatory programme: "on-the-move" conformal array antenna technology, research and between vehicle-mounted mobile station on-board with airborne mobile station "on-the-move" between cylindrical forms phased-array antenna. With equal area criterion (EAR) for metal surface (WGM) approximation with grid line model and simplify the complexity of modeling, with the method of moments (MoM) study of conformal array antenna. For quasi conformal array antenna, the cylinder is the simulation direction diagram along with the change of cylinder radius and the distance between unit; Calculate the scanning features, analysis of rectangular and triangular lattice effect on radiation pattern. For cylindrical conformal array antenna, the analysis of parasitic unit against the unit's input impedance and pattern; Calculate the impedance of the array, and scanning direction map, direction coefficient characteristics. Calculate a pair of cylindrical conformal dipole array antennas, calculation results are in good agreement with those obtained in the measurements. With gradual waveform estimation (AWE) technique, MoM point by point calculation results are in agreement with the calculation results, effectively reduce the workload of solving matrix equation, to improve the computational efficiency.
