Abstract

Charged spacecraft will give space activities bring a very big impact . Direct experimental study of space flight is the most effective way to study these phenomena , but expensive . Ground laboratory simulation of space plasma environment is one of the very effective means to complete these studies . In this study, the use of the ECR plasma source to achieve in a large vacuum device to simulate low Earth orbit space plasma environment . This simulation environment testing results show that the distribution of plasma parameters in the simulation environment is relatively uniform, stable environment simulation study of the plasma effect is able to reflect the actual process . In this paper, this simulation environment preliminary experimental study on the performance of solar cells in space plasma environment , and some preliminary charged solar cells characterization results , necessary to prepare well for future in-depth study .
