Abstract


Virtual Inslruments (VI) is the result of the combine of computer technology and measure technology.The uniform hardware platform of VI is computer and some extra equipment. VI realizes the function of traditional instrument by means of software.The VI that based on the Windows operating system maybe lose data because of the conflict between the multitask mechanism of CPU and Operating System and real lime property of signal collection.The kernel of this paper is the collection and transfers of signal. The author put forward the VxD technology to resolve the above problem based the deeply understanding of system and principle of 32-Bit CPU’s as well as Windows kernel structure.The anther develop a simple Virtual Instrument make use of VxD.This Virtual Instrument has been applied successfully in measurement.The test result proved thai the time wave this Virtual Instrument collections is very integrated and glossy,the data does not loss.
