Objective: A retrospective study of children with viral pneumonia pathogens and TCM distribution characteristics. Methods: A retrospective study method, June 2002 to June 2007, 4,937 cases of acute pneumonia in children hospitalized in the pediatric ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine, pathogen detection, selected from the 108 cases of viral children with pneumonia syndrome differentiation type, to explore different pathogens of viral pneumonia in children in different TCM type, age of onset, the distribution of the incidence of the season, the distribution of TCM syndrome types in the different incidence of the season. Results: the study of 108 cases of children with viral pneumonia pathogen detection, 72 cases of known viruses (66.7%), respiratory syncytial virus 21 cases, accounting for 19.4%, the adenovirus 14 cases, accounting for 13.0%, influenza virus in 37 cases, accounting for 34.3%; unknown virus 36 cases, accounting for 33.3%; share of first place in the known virus influenza virus. The results show that: the distribution and age of onset of viral pneumonia in children common pathogens Although there is no correlation, but has its own characteristics, 1 to 3-year-old infants 76 cases (70.4%), respiratory syncytial virus, adenovirus, influenza virus , unknown viruses accounted for 76.2%, 71.4%, 64.9%, 72.2%, the highest incidence of viral pneumonia in children of 1-3 years. Distribution and seasonal incidence of common pathogens of viral pneumonia in children did not have, but there are also characterized by respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia in 21 patients, the onset of spring 16 cases, accounting for 76.2%; 14 cases of adenovirus pneumonia, the onset of spring 6 cases, accounting for 42.9%, the onset of summer in 4 cases, accounting for 28.6%; influenza virus pneumonia in 37 cases, the onset of spring in 23 cases, accounting for 62.2%, the onset of winter in 8 cases, accounting for 21.6%; viral pneumonia is more common in the spring, followed by winter. Distribution of the observed children with viral pneumonia pathogens TCM card type no correlation, but also characterized by toxic hot closed Lungs pneumonia, 5 cases of which two cases is by adenovirus infection are caused, three cases is unknown virus infection by caused toxic hot off the lung is mostly caused by adenovirus and unknown viruses. The study of viral pneumonia in 108 cases, including 60 cases of wind-heat off the lung, accounting for 55.6%; phlegm off the lung in 42 cases, accounting for 38.9%; wind-heat off the lung plus phlegm off the lung a total of 102 cases of the total 94.5% of the TCM syndromes; viral pneumonia in children seen in the wind and heat off the lung and lung phlegm off. The observation: wind-heat off the lung 60 cases, the onset of spring 41 cases, accounting for 68.3%, winter incidence of 13 cases, accounting for 21.7%; phlegm off the lung in 42 cases, the onset of spring 20 cases (47.6%), the onset of summer 10 cases, accounting for 23.8%. Wind-heat off the lung is more common in winter and spring, phlegm off the lung is more common in the spring and summer. Conclusions: 1. Viral pneumonia in children is associated with age of onset was no correlation. 2 viral pneumonia in children is associated with the onset of the season was no correlation. 3 children with viral pneumonia pathogens and TCM syndrome type distribution was no correlation. 4 children with viral pneumonia of syndromes correlation with the onset of the season.
