Abstract


Objective: To study the effectiveness and security of the low molecular weight heparin and tanshinone used in pregnant women with early onset preeclampsia;to find the best therapeutical dose and program.Methods: Totally, thirty gravidas who were diagnosed as ESPE (eclampsia) and received expectant management from November 2008 to October 2009 in the first affiliated hospital of Nanjing Medical University were selected and randomly divided into two groups : Group A (control n=8): magnesium sulfate conventional treatment; Group B (n=8): magnesium sulfate +tanshinone (20ml daily); Group C (n=7): magnesium sulfate + low molecular weight heparin (4100U daily); Group D (n=7): magnesium sulfate + tanshinone(20ml daily) + low molecular weight heparin (4100U daily).five days for a course of treatment. Then the clinical symptoms and the results of laboratory tests were analyzed and scored to evaluate the effectiveness, side effects of tanshinone and low molecular weight heparin on the mothers and their fetuses.Results: The conditions of the women in the four groups before treatment had no differences. After the treatment, the blood pressure decreased significantly, the extended gestational weeks and the rate of neonatal asphyxia in B, C, D groups were significantly different from the group A(P<0.05), and the results of the laboratory test about the function of liver and kidney, fetal status, mode of delivery, and postpartum bleeding of the pregnant women were not affected(P>0.05).Conclusion:The expectations of the treatment with low molecular weight heparin and tanshinone on early-onset preeclampsia pregnant women could significantly improve the Neonatal out come.
