Abstract


GIS ( geographic information system) technology as the development of \The development of forestry in the new century is also an urgent need for GIS technical support, China's forestry new technological revolution, one aspect of a breakthrough in the application of GIS technology . The study is based on the eastern Tianshan hutubi forest as an example, to the existing Inventory Data and forestry picture shows the data source , to create the Regional Forestry thematic geographic information system as the core, the GIS system integration technology application of this system , combined with the local forestry units actually need to develop part of the relevant functional modules . Study used the the PowerBuilder and MapInfo integrated development technology to develop integrated development model of the C / S ( Client / Server ) Maps application ( Integrated Mapping Application ) ; Forestry Inventory Data for integration of graphics and management , with multi- of data management analysis , and data editing, query, update, and other functions , and have the MapInfo part spatial analysis and graphics editing features . Based on the The GIS Mountainous forest resources information system development is to adapt to the new situation of the mountain forest resource management , to improve the Mountainous forest resource management , assisted in Xinjiang, \management tools developed in cooperation by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Forestry Bureau of Xinjiang agricultural University , can be effective , state-of-the-art science to assist decision-makers decisions . This study fills a gap in the mountains of Xinjiang forest resources information management , to solve the actual needs of the local forestry unit , and laid the foundation for the subsequent topic work unfolds .
