Abstract

With the development of the theory of structural reliability , structural design methods gradual transition from a safety factor to limit the probability theory based on reliability design method . With shotcrete widely used in underground engineering , design theory has also been considerable development . But as a natural rock material has a variety of physical and mechanical properties , the variability of geotechnical parameters greatly affect the design of geotechnical structures and other issues, uncertainty analysis methods have appeared to be inadequate , the application of the method of probability theory geotechnical structures design is especially meaningful. This article describes the basic methods of reliability analysis , discusses the improved Monte Carlo method in geotechnical engineering field and the feasibility of unique advantages . And the application of the improved Monte Carlo method used in roadway and shotcrete support for uncertainty analysis , based on the derived rock stability , reliability shotcrete calculation method . The calculation takes into account the randomness of the various parameters , and can meet all the natural correlation between parameters , can reasonably determine rock stability and reliability of shotcrete . This method has been implemented on PC , for the stability of surrounding rock identification, as well as checking support design provides a theoretical basis and computational methods . Example calculations show that the method works in the mine or tunnel project has wide application value .
