Depended on the project of Tian An Men Subway Station, a method named as "Tunneling and Top-down Method", properly by uniting both of "Top-down Method" and "Tunneling Method" which is generaly used for building subway stations, has formed a distinguishing feature and novel method in this paper.On the basis of the project practice, in light of the basic methanical principles of tunnel, it is profoundly analyzed that dynamic state of strata, construction design, methods, technology and administration (including measurement) related to buiding subway station in this dissertation, which provedes grounds of argument and evidences in therory, technology and economy.This paper blazes new trails in design and buiding thinking, which are mainly shown that company of many mature technologies and establishment of new building methods.
