This paper summarized the Guangxi Paleogene shale distribution , engineering classification and physico-mechanical properties , Guangxi Paleogene shale pile end bearing behavior , then Paleogene shale Nanning Basin , in situ load plate test , rigid plastic body theory and elastic-plastic theory are three ways to study the pile tip bearing capacity . Elaborated the Terzaghi theory pile end bearing capacity is determined , and the site platen load test value Terzaghi theoretical formula be amended , modified Terzaghi theoretical formula . According to the plastic theory , the use of orthogonal design theory of the bearing capacity of the pile end large-scale finite element software ANSYS simulation , pile end bearing capacity of the pile length ( embedment depth ) , pile diameter , cohesion , angle of internal friction and the relationship of the deformation modulus of the main factors , and mathematical statistics , regression analysis of the 81 ANSYS simulation test result data , finite element method to determine the regression formula of the ultimate bearing capacity of the pile end , and the finite element method , regression formula value and site platen load test value of comparative analysis of large diameter pile tip resistance coefficient of size effect formula . The the modified Terzaghi theory formulas and finite element method with high reliability and practicality regression formula has important reference value in the development of relevant local standards of construction in Guangxi .
