Soil Taxonomy theory as a guide , the the Sichuan Basin the Jurassic Penglaizhen , Shaximiao and the Suining Formation purple rock formed and developed on the part of the purple soil as the research object , using the SPSS statistical software , combined with the test soil natural landscape, the cross-sectional shape and interior determination of physical and chemical properties , the soil differentiation factor , soil series based on indicators and retrieval order the system of the following conclusions: (1) the test purple soil organic matter , total nitrogen , total phosphorus, total potassium and particles with multiple soil properties showed significant or highly significant correlation ; nature of the organic matter, calcium carbonate , available phosphorus , particle composition for the test soil analysis of variance coefficient of variation ; soil configuration and soil depth also have a profound effect on soil properties . (2) for the test soil soil differentiation factor for soil configuration and characteristics of soil , surface soil texture , organic matter content . (3) for the test soil soil series based on indicators and their search order : 1 soil configuration : whether the B layer in the soil profile , five B layer differentiation , differentiation of B layer is formed farming deposited layer or the presence of porphyritic substances deposition , and the prototype layer is exposed divided into different soil series . ( 2 ) soil texture : soil texture, surface soil texture conditions , different texture types divided for different soil series . ( 3 ) soil organic matter status: grading index in accordance with the soil organic matter , combined with the test conditions of soil organic matter , at 20.1-30.0,10.1-20.0,6.1-10.0 < 6.0 ( g \\ kg ) division of four levels of soil series ( 4) in accordance with the classification uniform standards established in this study soil series based on indicators and the search order , control the physical and chemical properties of the tested soils retrieved , 17 for the test soil is divided into 14 soil series , the 9 Cambosols Gang , five belong to the new into the soil Gang .
