Abstract

With the Internet growth in business volume and type of business to increase and improve the network QoS ( Quality of Service ) is a critical issue. DiffServ support multi-protocol label switching network for QoS proposed model , but makes the congestion problem exists even in such networks , QoS can not be well realized . We must seek some strategies to avoid network congestion , thus further improving network quality of service. The main contents of this paper is to support differentiated services in multi-protocol label switching network congestion avoidance , the different causes for the resulting congestion , the corresponding congestion avoidance strategies, so efficient use of network resources to improve network quality of service . First, we focused on the network congestion caused by the uneven use of resources , we propose a dynamic load balancing mechanism . We introduce the probe packets to measure the delay , after the calculated average one-way delay , and then use the balance equation between the multiple LSP business restructuring . Simulation results show that with the use of dynamic load balancing ago, improved throughput , end to end delay and packet loss rate has decreased, the network performance has improved . Secondly, African response stream for network congestion caused problems, we propose a traffic shaping mechanism . In this mechanism, the network status information transmitted from the core router to the edge router , the border router according to the feedback information for non- response stream shaping control , the \congestion occurs at the core router . Simulation results show that this mechanism improves the response stream network transmission performance, but also be able to maintain a certain non-responsive traffic fairness .
