Abstract

Water is one of the important conditions for melon production. Melon growth period water consumption, high water content of the organ. In this thesis, the the muskmelon Yellow honeydew melon, Elizabeth and thin-skinned South China 108 as test materials, the the melon leaf area under drought conditions of soil drought on melon leaf photosynthesis, specific leaf weight, plant height, fruit yield and quality changes; pigments, proline, soluble protein content and the protection of enzyme activity and biochemical indicators; instantaneous Pn melon leaves, the leaf membrane system integrity, the natural leaf saturation deficit and the critical changes in saturation deficit. The results show that: The height of of Melon Seedlings plants in a soil drought reduce, narrow leaf area and the strains of total leaf area, specific leaf weight increased; the soil drought suppression Tobacco Growth and expansion of the leaves. Comparison between varieties: the Huanghemi indicators were higher than South 108 Elizabeth living between. Mild soil drought reduced the volume of the melon fruit, improve flesh TSS content; slow minimum stress fruit pulp lowest TSS content. Huanghemi under mild stress yield higher moisture and slow stress; 108 Elizabeth and southern high moisture under the highest yield. Water deficit stress, the melon leaves membrane permeability increases; POD, CAT activity increased in mild drought reduced under severe stress. CAT than POD susceptible to drought injury; content of melon blades Pro increase; increase in the seedling stage and stretched Man melon leaf soluble protein content, soluble protein content of fruit enlargement period showed a decreasing trend. The Muskmelon soluble protein content slightly higher than the muskmelon. Inter-species difference was not significant, a significant difference between the treatments. 3 soil drought reduced the relative water content of melon leaves, increased the critical saturation deficit of the blade. Varieties of leaf relative water content there is no difference, there are differences in the critical saturation deficit of the blade. South China 108 critical saturation deficit the largest Huanghemi lowest center of Elizabeth. Soil drought caused by the changes of of melon leaves photosynthetic pigments content. The mild stress pigment content and the lowest. 3 varieties of South China 108 pigment content and the highest lowest Huanghemi, Elizabeth living in between the two, significant differences between varieties. 4 different soil moisture melon leaves instantaneous the PN change for single peak. With the decrease in the amount of soil water, the South China 108 and Elizabeth melon leaves peak and instantaneous Pn reduced; Huanghemi mild stress on the highest peak. Varieties: the South China 108 peak and instantaneous Pn daily mean value of the highest the lowest Huanghemi, Elizabeth centered. 5 soil drought reduced melon leaves WUE. South China 108 and Elizabeth with soil humidity decreases, lower leaf WUE; the leaf WUE highest the Huanghemi under mild stress, slow minimum of stress. Varieties: the South China 108 lowest leaf WUE, the highest Huanghemi, Elizabeth centered.
