Abstract


The background of this thesis was radar indoor simulation tests, and the goal was to build radar land clutter simulation subsystem which was one part of radar indoor simulation system. The thesis firstly analyzed the characters of radar land clutter coefficients of land dispersion, provided its commonly used models and the application scopes of these models, and studied radar land clutter and its amplitude statistical properties and power frequency spectrum properties in detail. The thesis also provided methods on how to generate land clutter sequences from a probability distribution, and according to the differences between the way of ground radar and airborne radar processing data, adopted using clutter figure and real-time generating clutter sequences to modeling the radar land clutter accordingly. Finally, based on these models the thesis realized and finished a lot of simulation tests, and the results were analyzed carefully. The simulation test results illuminated that the modeling methods and the models were correct and valid.The thesis contents were organized as following:Chapterl. System simulation and radar signal environment were studied and summarized based on studying numbers of reference.Chapter2. Statistical models of radar land clutter were analyzed, and how to finish simulation test with typical statistical models of radar land clutter was studied.Chapter3. Several commonly used radar land clutter coefficient of land dispersion models were provided based on analyzing the characters of radar land clutter coefficient of land dispersion.Chapter4. The characters of ground radar land clutter were studied in details, and finished the modeling and simulation of ground radar land clutter according to ground radar with high and low precision respectively, and the simulation results were carefully studied.Chapter5. The characters of airborne radar land clutter were studied in details, and finished the modeling and simulation of airborne radar land clutter according to certain area and uncertain area respectively, and the simulation results were carefully studied.Chapter6.
