Abstract


Vernacular architecture and the climate is very close , it must be able to adapt to the local climate , and change it to provide people with a more convenient and comfortable Activities . Tung Shan, Yang County is located in southeastern Hubei traditional settlements and vernacular architecture resource -rich areas . The climate here is to show the characteristics of the cold in winter and hot in summer , monsoon climate, with hot rainy season typical of continental climate . In addition to the difficult to cope with the long winter and extreme climate throughout the year , frequent rainfall, humid southeastern Hubei is also a major feature of the climate . Through field research , a more intuitive, emotional understanding of the local vernacular architecture . Southeast Hubei rural economic conditions are very limited , but as a mature and stable architectural form of vernacular architecture not only to meet the economic , durable principles , but also can improve the micro-climate . The face of adverse climate conditions , the southeastern Hubei vernacular architecture not only to be able to insulation , but also pay attention to ventilation and moisture . To this end , the local vernacular architecture in the settlements site layout ; architectural form and spatial organization ; settlement to the drainage and water treatment systems and construction material selection, to create technology and other aspects of a series of measures . The southeastern Hubei vernacular architecture in the improved climate and environment at the same time , but also to maintain the stability of the surrounding ecological environment and a virtuous circle . Through these methods , improve the comfort of the living space and effectively play a moisture-proof effect , creating a pleasant and favorable micro-climate of the building environment .
