Abstract


With the rolling waves of the new curriculum, Shexian II to use PEP high school curriculum standard textbook English (New Senior English for CHINA hereinafter referred to as NSEFC). The new philosophy brought rare opportunities, but also to the Shexian two teachers and students bring difficulties and challenges. This study are summarized on the basis of investigation in the context of the new curriculum reform, the Shexian II English teaching status, reveals a number of problems, and to explore countermeasures, in order to be more effective in the context of the new curriculum reform to teaching English. English teaching teachers teach and students learn. The factors affecting the teaching of English is multifaceted, teachers factors, factors of students, the learning environment factors. The study focuses on a comprehensive analysis of and research on the Shexian II English teaching teachers teach and students learn. English teachers, such as qualifications, working experience, titles, seniority, teachers view the new curriculum, teaching strategies and teaching methods, teachers' views on school management, the difficulties faced by teachers, teachers of the concept of education and professional development of teachers and other were investigated. Understanding of the status quo through the Shexian two teaching high school English, reveals Shexian teaching high school English Problems: First, the students \students' English learning bad habits; poor quality of students' English learning; unscientific students' classroom learning method.
