Abstract

This paper aims to use multiple systems theory perspective to explain the history of modern Chinese literary translation, in the show multiple systems theory and other relevant theories, while trying to use multiple systems theory to explain the facts of modern Chinese literary translation, and on this basis to further explore Multiple systems theory in explaining the history of modern Chinese literary translation meaning and limitations. Evan Zohar Polysystemic Translation Studies made a great contribution, and many Chinese scholars try to use multiple systems theory to explain a particular historical period described China's translation activities, which have greatly expanded the translator vision. Authors suggest that multiple systems theory in explaining the history of modern Chinese literary translation is very authoritative. But now little research to focus on the perspective of using multiple systems theory to explain the history of modern Chinese literary translation in this field. In this paper, the existing multi-system theory studies comparing the process of discovery, these studies are more or less there are some deficiencies can not solve these problems. May 4th Movement was an important turning point in the history of Chinese translation, ideological, cultural and literary development, tremendous changes have occurred and translated literature in the history of modern Chinese translation occupy a dominant position. In this paper, multi-system theory as the guiding theory to explain the history of modern Chinese literary translation and describes the main contents of multiple systems theory, historical background and recalled the history of modern Chinese literary translation. Based on the above study, the authors concluded: Multiple systems theory in explaining the history of modern Chinese literary translation has very important significance. However, multivariate theory itself there are many defects, in the interpretation of the history of modern Chinese literary translation, there are some aspects of inadequacy. The main contents of this paper include the use of multiple systems, and other relevant theoretical analysis, discussion of the history of modern Chinese literary translation features and multi-system theory in explaining the history of modern Chinese literary translation meaning and limitations. In order from multiple systems theory perspective to explain the history of modern Chinese literary translation, using qualitative analysis methods, analysis, assessment of the new features. Articles by using a multi-system theory to study the history of modern Chinese literary translation, translation studies to expand the reader's perspective. The authors hope that the paper can provide richer Translation Studies and effective guide.
