Abstract


Objective:Implemented pit and fissure sealant comprehensive experimental epidemiology to 7-8year old children with caries in Zunyi. Evaluate the methods of Pit and fissure sealant intervene to prevent dental caries with clinical skills and management. To discuss and summarize the intervention of the Western in China in oral health experience and management mode.Methods:Using stratified cluster sampling method to choose 1-3 grade students of four primary school in Zunyi city about the oral epidemiological screening, and recalling the first permanent molars students who meet the pit and fissure sealant indications to execute pit and fissure sealant comprehensive oral health intervention, and analyze the variety of recalled ways result. Later respectively review after 6 months and 12 months to inspection the complete retention rate. To do each student’s oral health knowledge and oral health behavior questionnaire survey before and after oral health intervention,then we should compare the analysis. By taking the different effects of different proces models to evaluate the management of pit and fissure sealant comprehensive intervention in Zunyi.Results:The pit and fissure sealant project had different effects while process models were different, group recalled mode was better than scattered recalled mode, and School group recalled mode was the best. The complete retention rate after 6 months and 12 months had no significant differences between doctors at different levels. The children had Low oral health awareness in Zunyi, which is from 38.28% up to 64.83% after intervence in oral heath, brushing method, the time and the frequency were all improved.(P<0.05).Conclusion:The health awareness rate of the 6-10 years old children was just 38.28% in Zunyi and the rate of the brushing teeth once a day at least rate is 34.55% which were all lower 60% than the primary oral health care coverage rate (poverty) . School oral health education can help improve children’s oral health knowledge, behavior and consciousness, pit and fissure sealant appropriate technology can effectively reduce the rate of occlusal caries. Pit and fissure sealant project must be four-handed operation can ensure the quality, rational use of primary oral health care human resources was one of the conditions to keep the project continuously.Process optimization will help improve efficiency and reduce costs of the project. Scientific management of network data to improve project efficiency and management efficiency, but also to facilitate statistical analysis of large amounts of data.
