Abstract


Produce extended-spectrum β - lactamases (extended-spectrum β-lactamases, ESBLs) is the most common cause Enterobacteriaceae resistant to third-generation cephalosporins mechanism . ESBLs are able to hydrolyze the third generation cephalosporin and monocyclic lactam antibiotics of the β- lactamase . Mainly produced by Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae . The genotype of ESBLs CTX-M- based, the most important of which is the CTX-M-14, thus producing CTX-M type ESBLs bacterial infection treatment is the difficulty and focus of our treatment of ESBLs-producing bacteria . Using animal models for the study of the disease has proven to be an effective method . To 10% B a SO 4 broth as an adjuvant with 1 × 10 8 , 3 × 10 8 , 1 × 10 9 , 2 × 10 9 , 4 × 10 9 cfu / ml of five concentrations of E. coli in rabbits injected intraperitoneally closely observed the rabbit normal circumstances , the body temperature and peripheral blood leukocyte count and neutrophil percentage change , record the time of death , survival of the rabbits were sacrificed on day 10 , greater omentum pathological examination . The 5 rabbits WBC count and neutrophil percentage compared to bacteria significantly change . 3 × 10 8 < / sup > cfu / ml group mortality is moderate (45% ) , and each time period have died , fever longest duration omentum Pathological examination showed varying degrees inflammatory cell infiltration, abscess formation . Therefore consider to 10 % B A SO 4 broth as adjuvant and injected intraperitoneally with 3 × 10 8 cfu / ml of E. coli in hotels rabbit , you can get a moderate degree of infection , similar pathological changes and clinical comparability a reproducible bacterial peritonitis model .
