Abstract


Public art as an increasingly important in today’s urban cultural forms, plays a clearer cultural carrier role, and become the city symbols and symbolism. City is the carrier of public art, public art is the city, which was born with the city for the city and save. No culture is not the soul of the city the city, the world’s cities vary, the fundamental difference lies in the different urban culture. Is there a city full of creativity and representative public art and public participation in the relatively relaxed atmosphere in the presence of art, is there a proper proportion of filling of the art aesthetic and recreational and cultural exchanges and public space has become a measure of a the importance of urban culture high and low quality standards. With the development of the times, the development of public art is advancing with the times, the involvement of new media art for the development of public art to open a new situation.From the form of public art, public art and urban relations and new media art public art intervention of new forms and new development - the modern urban culture in these areas to enhance the charm of a detailed exposition and analysis. Sought in-depth and detailed exposition of the theoretical analysis of two cases, demonstrating the involvement of new media art, public art, after the new forms and new development, and focuses on new media art in the public use of the arts and new media art information in the city, public display of cultural development and urban character and urban cultural connotation and extension of the concept of play on the irreplaceable role.This paper argues that the development of public art the city has become an important part of urban development, particularly in new media art intervention, and its integration with real-time interactive multimedia features to give the spread of new forms of public art, participatory experience and aesthetic characteristics. In the digital era, the development of new media art today fit the needs of the development of urban culture, our city can not be built "museum", to make buildings to life.
