Abstract


Daxing Cotton Mill, one of successful models of management among modern nationalenterprises, exercised the system of joint-stock company, at the same time, it kept thetraditional system of personnel placement of “employment of relative company.”Reasonableway of raising fund, terrific promoting strategies, particularly perfect management ideas, andcomparatively relaxed labor-capital relationship helped Daxing Cotton Mill profit for morethan ten years. However, it was influenced by the contemporary society, so unavoidably it wasrestrained by the social environment. Flooding of foreign funds, competition of foreignproducts, and the continuous domestic wars and natural disasters once pushed it into direstraits. It was even cornered to be disposed by sale, which was in fact was the shared fate ofcontemporary national enterprises. Daxing Cotton Mill was a epitome of modern nationalenterprises’development. The research on this issue can not only enrich the contents ofstudies of national enterprises, but disclose the law of China’s modern national enterprises,and provides present economical construction with references and help.
