Abstract


Nowadays with the fast development of network technologies and wide usage of J2EE platform, the multi-layers B/S architecture based on J2EE platform is developing rapidly due to its usability, universality and fine extensibility, it has gradually become the main technique for building enterprise information management systems.In order to effectively increase the reusability, maintainability and extensibility of the web application system, it’s a wise choice to apply MVC (Model-View-Controller) model to develop multi-layers application system. The methodology MVC model raised is at the design level, itself doesn’t contain any specific implementations. For a software company, what it needs is a software framework which can be reused, improve the development efficiency, and increase the codes’ qualities.The article designed and implemented a software framework named L-MVC, which is based on J2EE platform and applied MVC model. L-MVC framework has the advantages of MVC model; In terms of implementation technologies, it makes the most of the tools of servlet, JSP, XML and JavaScript, etc.; L-MVC divides the data and the business logic by their levels, to suit the company’s needs of developing application on different platform.The paper gives a brief introduction on J2EE and MVC model. It takes a look at some prevalent MVC frameworks and discusses their advantages and disadvantages. The article describes the design thinking of L-MVC and the implementation of its 3 modules in detail. Besides, from the angle of programmers, it takes the BJ Telecom Card Management System as an example to show how to build a web application on L-MVC, the details should be noticed and the problems may come up.
