The main responsibilities of the author is that: to analyst the business requirements of the manufacture and distribution company, to Extract, Transform and load the data form the application system to the data warehouse; and to design some analytical report to analyst the business situations, such as the Purchasing Cost analyst, Purchasing Items analyst, Inventory analyst etc. The IS of delta consists of many application systems, This thesis first presents the application system network architecture that related to the data warehouse, and then put forward the architecture of the data warehouse and related technology, such as ERP, Web Method interface between different application system, data mining(Hyperion), report layer technology(Crystal Enterprise) etc. Because data extract, transformation, load(ETL) procedure is very important to the data warehouse, So this thesis details this procedure and give a sample for this procedure. After creating the data warehouse, this thesis continue to present the application of data warehouse in Delta business, for example: Cost analyst in finance, Purchasing analyst, Inventory analyst, Sales analyst etc. These applications approve that the data warehouse is very useful and important to the enterprise.
