Abstract


Nowadays, the development of tourism industry is going on a high-speed way. Tourism industry has become the main part of national economy. Tourism industry is a typical information-depend industry which expand depend on the evolution of information. The tide of informationization and network, which is represented by Internet, give an excellent opportunity to the new industry, even give it a challenge. It is one of main problems to be solved of informationization constructing of tourism industry that the travel map symbol on the basis of the network is visual, so the application of making travel map symbol visual in the tourism industry can enhance tourism informationization level deeply"Research of Tourism Map Symbol visualized", which is an important part of National 863 project "the demonstration of using 3S in significant trades -tourism" On the basis of providing a strong platform for the application of Web GIS in tourism, the research can program easily to express tourism spatial data better developers of tourism industry complete the task of Web GIS developing. This paper describes the design and blue print of achieving this goal, its main research content are as follows:1. Analysis the special requirement and the spatial features of tourism.2. According to the design principle of the map symbol, design the travel map symbol and visual function, the scheme of the symbol data store reference and network performance.3.Research the model of program for this system, looking for the scheme to solve problems about GIS and network problems during the development.4.developing the "Beijing tourism Web GIS" based on the "Tourism Map Symbol Visual System".After complete the research, I put forward the classified and coding system about tourism resources, put forward the scheme of tourism web map symbol database based on Java, solve the problems about tourism map symbol showing in the client and optimization of the transferring the map symbol data through the network, at last ,implement the visual function of tourism map symbol basically.
