Abstract


The source, category, annual yield, the profession distribute, comprehensive utilization degree of hazardous wastes and its present pollution and control conditions have been found out by investigation and analysis of the present condition of hazardous wastes in Chengdu city. It is showed by prediction that the industry hazardous wastes will amount to 1224 ton, the medical treatment hazardous wastes to 5559 ton when it comes to 2010. According to these data, and considering about the economy development level of the city, the author gives a preliminary disposition programming of Chengdu’s hazardous wastes.The programming covers the integrated process of the hazardous wastes, from the generation, conveyance, reserve, handling to the end treatment. Considering the characteristic of hazardous wastes, the author institutes concentration disposition project of hazardous wastes is put forward. The kiln process as the treatment technique of the medical treatment hazardous wastes is chose on the basis of the programming comparison. And the way to recycle hazardous wastes from social source is brought up, such as old electronics electric appliances, waste battery and waste storage battery. In addition, treatment and disposal engineering plans is formulated for the various sorts of hazardous wastes, and the investments to these engineering are estimated respectively. Finally the feasibility of hazardous wastes disposition programming is analyzed on the basis of the economy, technique, management and grosses pollutant amount control.This findings is of an important reference value to the scientific establishment of hazardous wastes disposition programming and the integrated management of hazardous wastes, besides it has certainly guiding meaning to the establishment of the same programming of other cities.
