Abstract

Water is the rarest resource which can’t be substitute and is pollutedeasily.98% of the whole water in the world is salt water, it can’t be use inagriculture or drink, and that most of the freshwater which is small inquantity is buried on the iceberg in south pole and north pole or under theearth. Only 0.014% of the freshwater can be use which mostly existencein river、lake、brook,65~70% of them were wasted for the evaporation、running off and other waste. However, this sole water of very small inquantity, is face of the menace of pollution because of the improperprotection of human oneself. Many polluted river、lake take place decayphenomena, even give off rotten scent , the water isn’t adapt to drink.Keep the water resource from being polluted for the human’s health andoffspring is a mission which no time to delay.Reservoir(lake) is the significant accumulation body of freshwater, which has a close correlation with human living .It not only is one of themost important drinking water resource, but also has functions ofagricultural irrigation、marine products breeding as well as electric powergeneration and tourism. In our country ,there are many and various kindsof reservoir(lake), they are face of the menace of pollution with the inflowof living sullage and industry waste water ,in order to protect the waterquality of reservoir(lake), the status of water pollution must be effectivelyevaluated and predicted.BOD and DO are the two important indexes in appraising the degree ofwater organic pollution. BOD( biochemical oxygen demand) is a generalindex which denote the quantity of organic and other oxygen demandsubstance in water ,it shows the quantity of DO was consumed when turnorganic substance into inorganic substance and gas during theoxygenation and decompose because of the biochemical action ofmicrobe. The more higher of it’s value, the more organic substancepolluted in water and worse situation of water pollution. DO(dissolveoxygen) is a index shows the amount of oxygen existence in water, theamount of DO almost near to zero when water body is pollutedseriously ,the creature in water can’t be alive ,water quality will be seriousworsening. BOD and DO have a close relation, BOD consumes DO duringthe attenuation, the meantime oxygen is dissolving in water ceaselessly, this rule of BOD and DO’s ebb and flow make the water model of BODand DO. First, this paper introduce the kinds of main organic substance pollutedin reservoir(lake) ,from this educe the mechanism of transportation andconversion of BOD-DO, make a base for erectness of BOD-DO model, suppose a special situation in which reservoir is a mixed completelyreactor, the water feed into the system will disperse into the whole waterarea with completely and equably mixed immediately ,namely mixedreservoir, erect the BOD-DO model of mixed reservoir according to thehydraulics rules and the law of conservation of mass ,and seek it’sanalytic result. Then introduced some classic BOD-DO models, forexample Streeter-Phelps、Thomas、Dobbins-Camp、O’Connor model, and
