Abstract


Glutamate as the major excitatory neurotransmitter in the mammalian nervous system , is widely distributed in the central and peripheral nervous systems . Glutamate and neuronal development , differentiation and synaptic transmission is closely related to function . In recent years , with the deepening of the molecular biology techniques , it has been successful in the brain the Nei Kelong three specific glutamate transporter ( vesicular the glutamate transporter VGluTs ) . They are specifically in the vesicle membrane glutamate concentration changes in inter - vesicle membrane H ~ and Cl ~ - under the conditions of participation , can help glutamate transporter to the vesicle . Therefore , these three proteins were named vesicular glutamate transporter (VGluT1, VGluT2 , and VGluT3 ) . Recent study found : VGluT1 and VGluT2 nearly specific distribution of axon terminals in the central nervous system glutamate . Therefore , people sent VGluT1 and VGLuT2 as glutamate axon terminals markers . In the spinal cord dorsal horn , VGluT1 positive terminal is mainly distributed in the medial dorsal horn II layer III layer and Ⅳ ~ Ⅵ medial layer VGluT2 positive terminal is mainly distributed in the dorsal horn of Ⅰ and Ⅱ layer . VGluT3 distribution is more special, not only distributed in glutamatergic nerve terminals , also present in the glutamatergic neuron cell body , dendrites and axon terminals .
