Abstract

Objective: To reveal the possible role of TβRI, Smad2, Smad3 and Smad7 molecule in keloid formation , to take advantage of the TGF -β 1 and its downstream effectors prevention and treatment of keloids correct theoretical basis . Methods: Using immunohistochemical methods TβRI keloid , normal scar and normal skin tissue of Smad2, Smad3 and Smad7 expression analysis ; using real-time quantitative PCR technology TGF-β 1 role before and after keloid, normal scar of Smad3 Gene expression in normal skin -derived fibroblast cells for detection. Results: The the keloid the TβRI positive rate increased Smad7 positive rates reduce , the three tissues Smad2, 3 was no significant difference ; TGF -β 1 after three tissues fibroblasts Smad3 gene The expression have declined . Conclusion : TβRI, Smad2, 3 and Smad7 as a bridge between the TGF-β 1 and target genes in the signal transduction pathway plays a key role. The exception of the TGF-β pathway internal adjustment mechanism may be the root cause of the keloid including various fibrotic diseases .
