Abstract

Executive functions can be divided into pure cold executive function and cognitive emotional involvement is highly heat executive function. Emotional decisions are hot an important part of executive function. Gambling laws are very popular in recent years, the international research paradigm an emotional decision. In this study, suitable for pre-school children's gambling paradigm gradually probing making pre-school children's emotional development as well as heat and executive function psychological mechanism behind it. First, an experiment using Kerr and Zelazo children gambling task, examined 60 children aged 3-4 decision emotional development. The results showed that 3-year-old and 4-year-olds in this task, there are significant differences in age, emotional decision-making at 3-4 years of age rapidly; addition, children of this task on gender differences are not statistically significant. Emotional decisions on the development of sexual characteristics, the Chinese children and child exists between the North American cross-cultural consistency. Experiment 2, based on the three-year-old children in gambling tasks may be due to the difficulty of the task requires a higher inductive generalization capability analysis, the difficulty of the task made improvements reduce inductive reasoning, and extracts 60 elementary school students to investigate whether the improvement in children reduces the task inductive generalization capability requirements, the results show that the improved indeed reduce the inductive generalization difficult. Experiment 3 using the improved children's gambling task, measured 181 3-5 years old children's emotional decision, found that children aged 3 years and four scores were significantly different, while children aged 4 and 5 years of age had no significant difference scores, which further validates the pre-school children 3-4 years old is the rapid development of emotional decisions. More importantly, the experiment found that reducing the difficulty of the task inductive generalization, in general, can improve children's performance on this task, but most of the 3-year-old children are still inclined to choose unfavorable cards. This shows that the inductive generalization ability is necessary to accomplish this task, but not sufficient condition for the lack of adequate inductive generalization ability is not caused by children 3 years old and difficult task in this core element. In addition, the experiment will be doubling the sample size, gender differences in general is still significant, but the last four test section results reflect significant gender differences, and the 4-year-old boys performed significantly better than the girl.
