Abstract


Fresco is one of the most important factors in many communal or monumental buildings. With the development of our nation , There are more and more communal constructions built both in the city and the country .Fresco is need to express the pastime, record the real world and expect the future, and frescoists’ missions is more important than any time. The essay will discuss the problems of contemporary Fresco in view of the theory and practice. It was considered that we, especially Frescoists themselves, should reflect on today’s productions of the Fresco in system.As a kind of Communal Art, Fresco should think high of the development and the succession of the great tradition, and shake off the bondage of the economical interests. The essay is also argue that Fresco will develop itself only if it learn from other fields of the Art continuously.
