Abstract


Youth, whose political participation is conducive to promoting the current development of socialism democratic politics, is an important and indispensable force to social development. With the continuing improvement and development of Communist Party of China s and Chinese government’s social and political institution how to guide young people to cater to the trend of the times and to orderly participate political life has not only increasingly become an important issue paid close attention by the ideological and political theorist circles , but also become the major practical topic confronted by builders of the socialism political civilization .The basic principles of Marxist political science as guideline, the thesis is written on the basis of the socio-political realities of today’s China, which is properly referring to Western democratic theory. In the first place, it is to study youth political participation by institutional change perspective so as to expound young people’s cognition transformation of political participation and changes in political behavior patterns before and after the Reform and Opening up. Secondly, youth political participation is be analyzed in the structure of contemporary China’s political institution, which is emphasized youth political participation in the typical areas, so as to summarize the general characteristics and manifestations of youth’s political participation, and explain the significance of youth participation in politics and thorny problems existed . Ultimately, Communist Party of China’s leadership as a prerequisite , young people are educated and guided to adjust to changes in Communist Party of China s specific system for the purpose of the healthy development of young people. It is illustrated in the course of exploring youth’s ways to participate political life that how men make the best of mechanism of Communist Party of China and Chinese Communist Youth League and channels of youth self-organization organization and to take advantage of network technology, so that youths would acquire political knowledge and skills and can participate orderly in political life
