Abstract


This article researches and designs the Individualized online teaching-aided system, which use network technology and data mining technology to help and expand the classroom teaching, according to the everyday teaching needs of Anhui Business Vocational and Technical College. This system integrates learning online, material downloading, testing online, practice management, score management and communication online. The article analyzes and describes the problems of traditional classroom teaching mode, the advantages of modern network-aided teaching mode, and the research of internal and international network-aided teaching system at first. Then it researches on various technologies required for the system design, especially on the relevant principles of data mining techniques. It lays the theoretical foundation for system design. After that, it describes design requirements, functions, teaching process, the division of the functional modules and database design of the system in detail. At last the application of Data Mining technology is described. Apriori association rules algorithm is used to mine students’ practice scores and test scores of every section, to find the association rules among the error-prone knowledge, to provide intelligent navigations by link for the sections and chapters which needed to be reviewed and previewed next. ID3 decision tree algorithm is used to mine students’ various learning information, find out classification rules impacting learning. It can predict students’ learning and provide the individual guiding.With the rapid development of information technology, especially with the rapid development of multimedia technology and network information technology, the disadvantages of traditional classroom teaching mode appear gradually, which is teacher-centered and based on behavioral theory. In the traditional classroom teaching mode, there are many problems, including single teaching mode, poor teacher-student interaction, studying initiative being restricted by the time and space, lack of targeted counseling, teaching process and content being lack of personality, work of teacher being too many and complex, etc. Because of these problems, the traditional classroom teaching mode can not meet the needs of teachers’ teaching and students’ learning. Especially in the real life, different students have much difference on acceptance, learning base and effort. But the traditional classroom teaching mode ignores the individual characteristics of the learning process. So the reform of teaching mode is imperative. Today, Combination of network and teaching is gradually becoming a new trend in the field of education. So a modern online teaching mode being student-centered and based on the constructivist theory is gradually demonstrate its superiority. As data mining techniques can mine some unknown, valuable information and rules from a large number of data, so It can further improve the online teaching mode, use data mining technology to mine the valuable information from students’ learning data, look for regulation. Thus, Individualized service of online teaching mode can be achieved, and student-centered idea and Individualized teaching become a reality.
