Abstract


The contention of air supremacy become the most important,fiercest part in modern high-tech wars.And the real-time and accurate radar information is an important insurance of capturing the air supremacy,and the goal position in the sky and accurate judgement of nature are one of the important tasks of the radar information. A traditional PPI display of radar can not display three-dimensional information visually,it can only show two-dimentional information lack of high information.Three-dimensional radar terminal displays’emulation is taken as a valid means of explaining a large number of radar data straight,it is possible to analyze and process the radar data effectively for fighter. It is related to some knowledge of digital image processing,computer graphics and radar technology,and it is an important application of computer graphics and digital image processing in a new generation’s radar terminal display. The development of radar terminal displays and the modern emulational technology are introduced in this paper.And this paper indicates that it is necessary to setup a three-dimensional emulational system of radar terminal displays.The overall scheme of three-dimensional radar terminal displays is designed by the general requirement for the emulational system of terminal display of a modern three-dimensional radar, and the realization of relevant function are discussed. The key technology is the algorithm of multi-resolution LOD models automatical generation in this paper. In allusion to the algorithm of multi-resolution LOD models automatical generation we present an algorithm of multi-resolution LOD terrain models automatical generation based on view-dependent,and realize an algorithm of view-dependent multi-resolution LOD terrain models automatical generation based on adaptive quadtrees ,based on analyzing domestic and overseas algorithms of multi-resolution LOD models’automatical generation and combining the actual characteristic of the
