Abstract


Schools in remote rural areas in western China development of basic education remains weak, one of the manifestations of Xinjiang Teacher absenteeism problem in remote areas, including art teacher absenteeism is more prominent. Constraints of various conditions makes art education in rural areas is lagging behind; teacher shortage, affecting the development of arts education in the region. This situation generates one hand by the economic level, the impact of national culture foundation is weak, uneven development between the professional, the differences between urban and rural areas, the other is weak teachers. Extensive research found that: the majority of rural primary and secondary school art teacher urgently need sufficient. Although China encourages comprehensive universities and non-participation in Normal Universities have trained teachers work, but it does not meet the educational needs of remote areas in Xinjiang. Because the Xinjiang region mainly from the supply of minority teachers in Xinjiang Normal University, primary and secondary school teachers by 2004 the majority culture medium by Xinjiang Normal School and Ecole Normale Supérieure. In recent years, Xinjiang Normal Schools were canceled because of Xinjiang Normal Universities in the graduates will become the main source of basic education. Overall, the art teacher teacher graduates number some decline, the reason is the uneven distribution of Xinjiang University, only two southern regions of normal universities, most colleges and universities located in the northern normal sex, so a direct impact on the balance of supply teachers. For the West in terms of basic education is the basis for developing the western region, is to improve the quality of the whole premise; education is also a long-term cyclical cause, no merit neither education nor anxious. The number of teachers and quality issues to be resolved, insist on quality, quantity, size, structure and efficiency of the coordinated development.
