Abstract


With the development of the mobile communication on the sea, more and more communication equipment were used, that had made it very difficult to operate them. So it is significative to establish an integrated communication system that can cover all the communication equipment.Through analysis of the communication system on the ship, three partition were made out: information collecting module, information processing center, information transmission module, and then , through the analysis of the type, size, instancy of the information from the first module and the capability, usage, rate of the equipments from the third module, I put forward to a integrated system that is very economical and fitful for people’s need.And then, I made analysis of the compression of the images from the digital camera or other image collecting equipment, and used the JPEG2000 standard. On the video communication, I used the H.263 standard and used video telephone.At last, I made my practice through carrying out the operating software. From the interface and function of the software, we can see that the integrated communication system can carry out report, alert and common communication easily, and I believe this will accelerate the development of the integrated communication system on the sea.
