Abstract


Comments on the newspaper layout has also been rapidly progressed with the social needs and market-oriented operation of newspaper itself. Across the country, many citymedia at the provincial level have begun to establish comments layout, powerful boost with the development of media commentary, and prompted the society as a whole atmosphere of freedom of speech.“Xiangjiang comments”pages of“Xiaoxiang Morning paper”as one of the representative, since its born in 2004, it is quickly role as the core competitiveness of the newspaper.And it became an eye-catching national newspaper comment pages in the crowd.This article is based on the articles from December 2004 to December 2008 of "Xiangjiang comments" edition pages as the main case study for quantitative and qualitative analysis.In this paper, journalism, communication science, sociology, media studies and other subjects of the basic principles and theoretical results for the theoretical support, first of all discusses the three stages which the "Xiangjiang comments" version experienced; followed by the use of a sample survey method, made an in-depth exploration about the contents characteristics、the author identity characteristics、the layout constitutes characteristics of "Xiangjiang comments "version; turn right with its own characteristics, analyze the social impact of the" Xiangjiang comments "version .Based on the former two, the inspiration of Xiangjiang comments "version to the same comment were proposed , and then to provide some suggestions for the continuing development space of the "Xiangjiang comments" version. For the continuing development space of "Xiangjiang comments" version , topics of this paper, views, openness, layout elements, etc., made improvements to draw on ideas and methods: the introduction of "comments journalist" mechanism to achieve the integration of reports and comments; enhance the intensity of the news analysis, regular launched a series of comments; more please experts to speak, more please the speakers who have relevant life experiences ; with "interactive" elements to add "different voices" for an open comment; with "interactive" elements to add "full voices" for an open comment; allow the expression of a single text to have a "diversity"; comments version need to introduce other elements outside of the layout elements.Expect to have implications to help the academia, the media to study Metro comments layout at the provincial level.
