Abstract


Friction stir welding (FSW) is the most potential development and the most compelling advanced welding technology after laser welding technology, by the domestic and foreign researchers’attention. Friction stir welding process temperature field has very important influence to crystal microstructure and mechanical properties of welding joints, is liquidity of welding metal materials, foundation of analysising and welding stress deformation.At present, most of the experimental studies measure the distribution of temperature field with inserting thermocouple. Main determination friction stir welding process, welding temperature distribution of specimens, and stirring tool of the temperature field distribution is almost not seen research reports. Measuring temperature bovines without appropriate instruments. In order to solve the problem, this paper designs and develops by the friction stir welding tools wireless transmission temperature measuring system.Based on thermocouple thermometer technology developed by respectively, application of wireless temperature measuring system and traditional temperature recorders, determination of different material, different geometric feature of mixing tools and different cooling condition, friction stir welding process, stir tool and Al alloy welding test plate of temperature field is studied systematically various boundary conditions of friction stir welding tools and Al alloy welding test plate temperature field distribution regularity of influence.The results of the study show that, stainless steel mixing head than HSS mixing head high yield of heat, this high phenomenon also needs to be studied further analysis, Increase mixing head shaft shoulder size, frictional contact area increases, the yield increase friction heat, be helpful for weld pool, Threaded mixing head a cylindrical and frustum of a cone shape mixing head produce heat bigger, friction stir effect is best, promote the formation of good weld microstructure, Use copper plate welding test plate obviously lower than the peak temperature using thermal baffle welded joint of peak temperature
