Abstract


Regular expression matching as a key technology for network security applications , play an increasingly important role . This paper , the regular expression matching algorithm to store , based on deterministic finite automata algorithm , in order to meet the evolving needs of deep packet inspection applications . The main contents are as follows: 1 , the traditional regular expression matching algorithm analysis and comparison of selection algorithms designed for storage architecture advantage . Storage - oriented architecture positive expression matching algorithm research , algorithm design provides a basis for further study of the multi-faceted multi-angle . 2 , the rule set regular expression syntax analysis of regular expression matching criteria and algorithm design , study of the prevalence of state explosion problem , provide an entry point for algorithm design and theoretical basis . Design based on the state of the sparse matrix storage table compression algorithm, compression algorithm combined with the character table of the algorithm optimization strategy . Experimental results show that : the combination of single-character compression the table optimization algorithm in the Linux L7 - filter and Bro rule set of storage space compression rate is generally more than 90% . 4 , given a restriction under the conditions of a default path input delay deterministic finite automata optimization algorithm, using weights priority principle and node priority principle two optimization strategies to optimize . The experimental results show that : in the Linux L7 - filter rules set limit is smaller in diameter , the optimization algorithm can be further compressed storage space . 5 , caused by the binding mode for the single count state explosion problem , the design of an efficient matching single count constraint bitmap mode shift finite automaton . On the basis of the Synthesis of multiple counts of constraint mode , the external state explosion problem , design an efficient matching of multiple counts of constraint mode butterfly automata .
